The designer Ülar Linnuste has been presenting his colleagues’ portraits and summaries of their works since 2012. The main goal is to introduce designers as individuals who actively change our living environment.
During the last two years, 33 designers who are members of the Estonian Association of Designers have been portrayed. The portraits have included popular designers who have been active for decades and founding members of the Estonian Association of Designers like Matti Õunapuu, Mait Summatavet, Leonardo Meigas, Tiit Jürna, Maile Grünberg. The works of many other designers who joined later on are widely recognised but not so many people know the faces of the representatives of this profession. This year, 15 more are added, also including active younger designers.
All portraits and overviews of the designers’ work are equipped with QR codes which take the viewers straight onto the designer’s or his/her company’s website.
