Workshop
The project “_let’s Make It Move†introduces the design process. During the workshop everyone can see how a product is developed and prototype is created. Why "Lets make it move"? One of the objects that will be designed, is bicycle frame. Reason for choosing this, is that bicycle is at the same time the most complex and the simplest device which enables us to cross distances faster.
In addition to that, we are also looking for something which would become the driving force behind Estonian economy. The idea is to come up with a product which would not have to be imported and which would create a supply chain – first, engineers would be employed, then manufacturers and after that Estonian advertising producers, packaging companies and retailers.
The workshop is carried out by Disain 410 - team is composed of differents EKA teams and two instructors - Veiko Liis who is an experienced product designer, winner of the Estonian Design Award BRUNO and who recently returned from an internship at Holland and the Estonian car designer Björn Koop.
Disain 410 is unique because of how the creative process is carried out in the organisation. They do not calculate, they do not do post-it design and market research and they do not talk about what they cannot deliver. They place their emphasis on pure creativity.
The event is recorded by Alasti Kino, which is famous for making documentaries and music videos.
The workshop starts at 9 in the morning and the prototype should be ready at 21.00Â
