The exhibition of BRUNO 2012 nominees
BRUNO is an Estonian design award which has been given out by the Estonian Association of Designers since 2006. The BRUNO 2012 awards are presented in two categories – the best product design and the best design project. The aim of the awards is to highlight the role of the designer in the society and demonstrate that design has the potential to create a more humane living environment and enhance competitiveness.
An international jury evaluates the nominees based mainly on the criteria of user-friendliness, innovation, ergonomics, aesthetics and environmental friendliness. With the BRUNO awards, the Estonian Association of Designers wishes to foster cooperation between designers, companies and the public sector.
