Dominik Emergency in cooperation with Light Festival

The Polish artist, Dominik Lejman, uses footage of parachutists in his project. He asked a group of parachutists to form the structure of a Gothic cathedral with their bodies while jumping and before opening their parachutes. According to the artist, the form of simultaneously falling figures represents an architectural diagram but also the structure of Christian values, philosophy and ethics.

Dominik’s art projects combine canvas painting with contemporary audiovisual means. He projects videos onto previously finished modernist canvas paintings and by doing so, creates works of art which resemble traditional paintings.
