Estonian Design Awards 2012 gala and Oskar Metsavah´s fashion show
The Estonian Design Awards 2012, which are organised in cooperation between the Estonian Association of Designers (EDL), Estonian Design Centre (EDK), ADC* Estonia and the Estonian Service Industry Association, are:
- EDL BRUNO award for the best product design and the best design project,
- EDK award SÄSI for a young product designer for his/her work in the field of design,
- ADC*E award for the best web and graphic design solutions
- for the first time also the award for the best service design project.
The hosts of the gala are Reet Aus and Jarek Kasar.
The gala culminates with the presentation of the fashion collection by the Estonian-born Brazilian fashion designer Oskar Metsavaht´s South-American best known luxury brand OSKLEN. Oskar Metsavaht is a renowned sports medicine doctor in Brazil, passionate surfer, film director, photographer and fashion designer. His brand OSKLEN is the only luxury brand in South America which is highly valued around the world because of its characteristic style and its aspiration to promote sustainable thinking and the use of local raw materials and craft skills.
