Memories are like frames on a film. Some are faded, others bright, more distinct. Some are missing, but never completely lost. They are still somewhere out there, in the back on your mind. Some are just forming in front of us.
The items on display have something familiar, but also something completely new. Textiles form into childhood teddy bears, and soft misty shrouds, that cover the past like a veil. Ringing memories give way to silence, which creates something extraordinary – a frame of silence.
Authors if this project are the III year students at the textile department of the Tartu Art College: Helen Valk, Riin Palumets, Eva Sikka, Eva Mustonen, Mari Käosaar, Maarja Tamjärv, Thea Ilusmets, and Kaisa Reimand.
