Performance and exhibition in the Katariina Guild
On September 23 from 18 to 23 o’clock, Katariina Guild offers everyone the opportunity to see how ideas emerge and how they evolve into artworks in the open studios. Different drafts, scribbles and otherwise random bric-a-brac are exhibited because we start with the inception of an idea, how the artists depict their initial thoughts and we continue with how the idea evolves into a brilliant end-product.Â
The artists introduce the following topics: at 18.30 – the birth of fashion, 19:00 – the birth of jewellery art, 19:30 – the birth of glass art, 20:00 – the birth of ceramics, 20:30 – the birth of leather art, 21:00 – the birth of textile art, 21:30 – the birth of the quilt.
EXHIBITION OF THE GUILD’S JUBILEE MONEY – As a way of celebrating the arrival of the euro, we have organised a surprise exhibition of Katariina Guild’s own money – the kata. Kata is our jubilee money. Explanations will be provided on site.
All this takes place on 23.09 at 18:00-22:00Â
