Munkadetagune Tower Gallery´s exhibitions

Munkadetagune tower is a defence tower of the Tallinn city wall which was built in three parts during the years 1370-1413. The tower was opened in 2010 after extensive renovations (architect Tiina Linna, renovator Restor PLC). The historical beautifully build limestone defence tower of the Tallinn city wall is enriched with Estonian design. On May 30, Estonian Design House opened its showroom on the ground floor of the tower where you can buy works by artists like M.Järg, S.Soomlais, T.Luisk, J.Orgussaar, I.Gurjeva, etc. Furthermore, contemporary visual art is exhibited in the tower. At the moment, Raul Meel’s personal exhibition “Punane piir” (“Red Borderline”) is displayed in the tower.
