Portfolio Café is a portfolio presentation event where designers introduce their creative portfolios to the professional managers, critics, curators, artists, art producers, gallery owners and manufacturers.

Portfolio Café uses an intimate and trust-based meeting format for presenting the portfolios. Every expert talks to every portfolio holder separately. This format is useful for both the artist and the art professional - the artist can practice presenting his/her works, he/she can ask for advice and get feedback and the design expert can get a quick but thorough overview of the young author, ask specifying questions and make suggestions regarding cooperation and the young artist’s work. 

Experts from Estonia and abroad take part in Portfolio Café. Estonian Furniture Industry Association is also involved in the event. One meeting lasts about 20 minutes.  

The event takes place at the Design Night festival centre in the Rotermann quarter on September 21 at 10:00-13:00.
