Opening of the poster exhibition at Rotermanni Soolaladu at 21.09.2011 at 17.30

Since 2007, Estonian Graphic Designers’ Union and Haapsalu Cultural Centre have organised Haapsalu Graphic Design Festival which concentrates mainly on posters. An overview exhibition of Estonian cultural posters is being organised for the third time. 100 posters which characterise the visual language of Estonian poster designers and the trends in the development of Estonian cultural posters were chosen from among 209 posters by a prestigious jury. The marvellous ability of posters to visually define and mirror a moment in time in which they were made shows that the best Estonian posters move in the same rhythm as the world, using all the available technical solutions. 

The exhibits feature works from both renowned and also talented young designers and brave students. They all wish to develop the art of poster design. The exhibition displays works of 26 authors.
