Trash to Trend at Design Night At Design Night, Trash to Trend presents three upcycled collections made of leftover material from the Estonian textile industry.Â
HULA is a trademark of the Estonian Academy of Arts and it is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. In order to commemorate this, Eve Hanson, Reet Aus, Anu Lensment and Marit Ahven who launched the trademark created a collection made of 170 pairs of trousers by Monton which were written off.Â
In addition to that, the audience will also have the chance to see a HULA collection called Tetris by the Master’s students Sille Sarapuu, Hanna Haring, Joanna Kivihall, Marta Konovalov and Kärt Põldmann which was supervised by Reet Aus. The collection was created from leftover materials from the textile industry based on the principles of zero waste.Â
Furthermore, Reet Aus’ last upcycled denim collection will be unveiled. Tickets from Piletilevi 10 €, reduced tickets from Piletilevi 8 €, tickets on site 13 €, reduced tickets on site 10,4 €.
