Exhibition of the works created during the course “Product Development and Design"
The School of Technology under TTÜ (Tallinn University of Technology) is a hobby school for secondary school and college students. It is a school where the students can develop their technical knowledge through interesting practical exercises. Through our work, we try to solve the problem of distinguishing between designers and engineers. How should they cooperate in order to reach a solution which would satisfy both sides? In order to do that, we have been offering a course called “Product Development and Design†at the TTÜ School of Technology since 2004. This course links product development, manufacturing, economics and design. The aim of the course is to popularise the engineering sciences, develop team skills, creativity and increase interest towards technology. This exhibition gives an overview of the works and the mindset of the youngest creators.
