“Tales of Heroes”, which is curated by Design Flanders, has travelled just about everywhere in Europe and will complete his trip in Tallinn. It displayed the playful and unbridled creativity of our designers within a clever scenography. “Tales of Heroes” features design objects from Flanders (Belgium) which were created based on a contemporary vision but combined with a sense of nostalgia and is telling a story as an experience, a dream that carries the entire exhibition. 

The 35 objects were specifically chosen for their poetic value, in line with the theme, and were often produced in small runs, whether using traditional craftsmanship or industrial production. Architect Pieter Boons translated it in a three-dimensional “tableau vivant”, in which all the design objects play their parts.
