- have an ambitious business idea;

- are looking for a team to realise said idea;

- don’t have a business idea but have skills in design, business management and/or engineering – or are just  great in creative thinking – and would like to put these skills into use in an International team; 

- are looking for international contacts.

IdeaMarket takes place over two days. 27 September is all about inspiration and networking. Johannes Savolainen, founding partner of the Finnish accelerator Royal Majestics, will talk about the importance of a team in a business venture, and Fernanda Torre introduces the concept of experience design as a crucial part of new products and services. The participants will have a chance to pitch their ideas to the audience and will later form teams for the following day. 

The second day, 28 September, focuses on accelerated product development in teams and developing the business concept. Using the concept of TeamLab, participants will work in teams formed in the previous day with the help of professional mentors of design, engineering, business and IT. At the end of the second day, teams present their projects and business models to the jury.

After graduating 1993 from Helsinki School of Economics and Boston University with a MBA degree he spent several years in management consulting and advertising with main focus on brand value creation in branded goods industry. Putting lessons learned in practise he successfully built and launched a Finnish street wear label, Karhu Originals, into the international street wear scene.

He is the Founding Partner of Royal Majestics, a venture firm and business accelerator helping Finnish fashion and design companies to grow and go international.

Fernanda Torre is a Stockholm based Experience Designer mainly focusing in supporting other companies to innovate through experiences and creating added value in intangibles.

In the latest years Fernanda has been working with Karolinska Institutet (Medical University) co-organizing and designing Nov2k— an international scientific conference focussed on the future of science and medicine, with the Swedish Institute developing and facilitating Balticlab — a project aimed at increasing integration in the Baltic Sea Region through creativity and entrepreneurship, created the Titanic League— a Meetup about failure and seeing failure as a resource and is a founding partner of We Have Company— a co-creation and open innovation co-working space in Stockholm.
