Arising from a passion for concepts, pattern-making and tailoring, as well as interest in human existence and perception, artist and designer Marit Ilison’s work is a mesh of complex strands of thought and precise, often time-consuming technical execution.

She likes to investigate in a human body and space around it, creating memorable experiences and playing with viewers’ perception, questioning the reality around us.

Her new site-specific installation “Teine” (trans. second and other) is following her previous site-specific works and accompanying her new womenswear collection conceptually. The experience will be fresh and surprising for both - art lovers and those who usually never visit any galleries.
