The exhibition consists of posters which display the most interesting ideas and recipes from the competition Grandma’s Design. Grandma’s Design invites people to introduce their heritage and different cultural identities through the food culture. Fifteen grandmothers from Belgium, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey were filmed and interviewed while they were preparing a baked dish which is typical of their country or the region.

Grandma’s Design aims not only to preserve these traditions but also wants to give them a new life through a new interpretation. With Grandma’s Design, Europe’s baking heritage is actively revisited.
