Aamu Song & Johan Olin`s lecture IN GOOD COMPANY
We`ll talk mainly about our collaborations with traditional manufacturers (Secrets of Finland, Secrets of Korea, Secrets of Belgium and Secrets of Russia, and a bit about upcoming Secrets of Estonia). Also about few other projects, where being in good company is very essential.Â
COMPANY Three is a crowd but two is indeed a company.Â
COMPANY is Aamu Song & Johan Olin`s design practice based in Helsinki. They work as artists, designers, and producers, running their own shop Salakauppa in Helsinki.  SALAKAUPPA Sala means secret and kauppa means shop.Â
All of our products are the result of COMPANY`s excursions to very exiting, yet old fashioned, factories around Finland and to our neighbor`s around the world. COMPANY`s design is purely based on each factory`s story and function. That`s our secret.Â
COMPANY (Aamu Song & Johan Olin) We are two designers from Finland who also run a shop in Helsinki. Previously we have been working with traditional manufacturers here in Finland, in Belgium, in South-Korea and most recently in Russia. These projects have resulted in a range of products which are available in our shop in Helsinki and are also distributed to selected resellers in Europe (for example in Italy, Denmark, Iceland and in Finland).
