On September 27 at 15.00-16.30, a round table on the topic “Integrating Sustainability into the Fashion Industry” is held. The aim of the event is to discuss how to produce garments and enhance competitiveness in a way which respects the environment and the role of design in all this in the context of the local textile industry. 

The discussion revolves around how to apply upcycling technologies in a factory with 30 000 employees which produces 56 million garments a year for the world’s largest fashion brands. Aus Design’s partner from Bangladesh, a company called Beximco, is attending the round table. 

Round table is organized in cooperation with Estonian Clothing and Textile Association. The discussion is hosted by Ann Runnel and Markus Vihma from Aus Design.
