The fashionshow-trio on Saturday will bring the audience to a mental wandering to the roots of materials and creations. Thereupon the trip will be dashed along the strain right top, where the fruits of gratifying experience and enjoyment grow. Conjointly there will be deleted quite common and prosaic boundary: three exquisite fashionshows will be presented in the Kultuurikatel communty garden brickhouse for free, with no ticket price.

FIRST SCENE – k00d.ee

k00d.ee is a young brand that produces design-knitwear out of local estonian wool. With every garment goes along a QR code, that informs the wearer about the farm from where the raw material originates. In the studio of k00d.ee it’s possible to see and also order organic cotton from Peru.

It’s been four years since we saw the last womenswear collection from fashion designer and artist Marit Ilison. This fall, Ilison will be presenting her new dusky ready-to-wear collection, which can be characterized as minimalistic, comfortable, warm and high quality. 

Arising from a passion for concepts, pattern-making and tailoring, as well as interest in human existence and perception, artist and designer Marit Ilison’s work is a mesh of complex strands of thought and precise, often time-consuming technical execution. She likes to investigate in a human body and space around it, creating memorable experiences and playing with viewers’ perception, questioning the reality around us. Her new site-specific installation “Teine” (trans. second and other) is following her previous site-specific works and accompanying her new womenswear collection conceptually. The experience will be fresh and surprising for both - art lovers and those who usually never visit any galleries. 

As always, you can expect to be surprised by designer who has more than a keen eye on details.
