Telliskivi Loomelinnak is the biggest
center of creative industries in Estonia. As the quarter is located on a verge of the city center and two most promising boroughs in Northern Tallinn (Kalamaja and Pelgulinn) it also functions as an attractive public space and a focal point. Culture sector and younger generation eagerly discover and conquer forgotten spaces of the city.Â
An office is no longer just an office and shops are not just shops – social life is changing and our private lives and work are more and more connected. These tendencies are also expressed in urban space.Â
The activity of Telliskivi Loomelinnak (Telliskivi Creative Campus) in Northern Tallinn has changed the former Baltic Railway factory area into a vibrant urban centre – there are 11 buildings on the territory with a total area of 25.000 m2 that now house a varied array of offices, cultural facilities, shops and bars. Something new seems to happen every week.
